Christine & Company and The String Sisters take the stage at the monthly Hard Luck Café concert series co-presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington, NY) in the Cinema’s Sky Room on Wednesday, December 20. Open mic 7pm / Concert 8pm.

Christine & Company is a new musical adventure for NY singer-songwriter Christine Ambrosini, known to local audiences for her earlier work as a member of acoustic trio He-Bird, She-Bird. Christine & Company showcases Christine’s lyrically-rich, harmony-driven original songs, and features Christine on vocals and guitar, joined by Joanne Ambrosini on backup vocals, John Ambrosini on backup vocals, guitar, and keyboard, and Zachary Swanson on bass guitar.

The String Sisters, featuring Annie Mark and Maria Fairchild on vocals, guitar, banjo, and mandolin, perform a mix of classic country, blues, old-time, and original songs. Their original songs explore life’s journey, struggles, and triumphs, with wit and wisdom.
